Gentec has been proudly serving South Jersey and the surronding areas for the past 30 Years. What makes us so special? Our customers. Many of our customer are repeat customers. They enjoy the personal service that we offer. Our knowledge of our equipment and various products always gives us an edge. When it comes to older equipment, that may be a bit more rare, we take our time to research, and make sure we have the right information, something that much larger companies never want to be bothered with. Finally, we give our customers the respect they deserve, and the friendly touch they need to make their experience with us a pleasant one, from setting up a home generator, to repairing RV and Marine equipment, Gentec Equipment Service Co. is there for you.
Our History:
George Murphy started Gentec in 1982. Working out of his house, he soon built his business into one that is respected amongst his peers and customers alike. George has accumulated many years of knowledge of not just installations, but hard to find equipment, parts, and service techniques. He has made Gentec Equipment Service Co. into a company that is "large enough to serve, but small enough to give personal service." George also takes care of many unique installations that may be one-of-a-kind.

Gentec Equipment Service Co. is marching proudly into the future. We don't just rest on our laurels. We are constantly updating our knowledge and technologies to bring you the best and most versitile service possible. We like to make sure we are treating the people we serve, not just as a customer, but as an honored friend and partner that we will do business with for many years to come. We serve many different customers: Municipalities, home owners, RV owners, boat and marina owners, businesses, developers, farmers, and many many more.
